House of Wild Water
Hello and welcome to the house of Wild Water! It’s a constant work in progress, and you’ll probably find that it changes often and suddenly – other times, I’m not here at all for months!
I was inspired to create this site by my own metaphysical ponderings around the internet.
What is the internet even? How does it work, and how has it changed over time? What are web crawlers, fractal dimensions and electromagnetic interference? What ethical challenges are we facing with the rise of AI?
I have little to no goddamn idea, but I can't stop thinking about it. As a 90s kid, I first saw the computer as a portal to a new dimension, a world to be explored – over time it warped into the mundane, the corporate, the algorithmic hazard we know and hate today.

I use this site as an experimental coding playground, a gallery of coded artworks I cherish, a place to showcase my own work and passions, and I also aspire for it to be an interactive place, a place that other people might enjoy exploring.
This site is best viewed of a computer, but I try to keep it responsive. Explore the house – click on doors, shelves and items – as I add them over time. Help yourself to some code snippets if you see an effect you like. The pictures on the walls are of my own work. Feel free to add them to your own house, but please link to me if you do!
All the best
Wild Water
